The OTI-Scan 3D is the most advanced ophthalmic ultrasound
system available today. This compact combination 3D B and A-scan system
operates with a single Macintosh desktop or laptop
computer and performs traditional B-scans, 3D B-scans, Biometry and
Diagnostic A-Scans.
The UltraFast 12 MHz B-probe operates on an entirely new principal,
patented principle. Its scanning rate of 50 frames/second allows excellent
visualization of tissue, mobility and vasularity of low density structures
in the vitreous. The internal rotator assembly can generate a three-dimensional
image in less than two seconds.
This is the only system that records B & A-Scan movies in real-time,
allowing the user full playback and movie-editing capabilities prior
to storing the movie in the patient database.
