The new patented magnetic driven B-probe design allows an unprecedented scanning rate of B-Scan at 50 frames per second for exquisite dynamic motion resolution, and super-fast 3D scanning.

The B-scan capabilities of the OTI-Scan 3D are the finest available. The 12 MHz operating frequency offers significantly improved resolution over other available B-Scans. The 114 dB dynamic range allows gain and contrast to be adjusted during and/or after a scan has been captured, with no loss of information. A scanning rate of 50 frames/second, (which is 3-5 times faster than any other B-scan systems), provides excellent motion capture, supported by the industry's most advanced dynamic capture, review and editing capabilities before the movie is stored into the patient database.

The 3D rotation motor is integrated inside the B-probe, making 3D scanning far easier than ever before. The integrated 3D B-probe eliminates the need to interrupt the B-scan exam to prepare for 3D scanning. The user just presses the foot switch to obtain a 3D scan in less than 2 seconds. The two-second scan capture time eliminates most motion artifacts and makes 3D practical even for difficult patients.
