With the OTI-Scan 2000's unique ability to record
B-scans, aquiring the best still images has never been easier. Previously,
an examiner would have to concentrate on holding the probe on the
patient's eye, while searching for the pathology. The scan would
have to be frozen with the footswitch the exact moment the pathology
was located.
With OTI's Dynamic Video Recording an examiner no longer has to
worry about capturing an image at exactly the right instant. When
the footswitch is pressed, the OTI-Scan 2000 has already captured
the last 40 seconds of the scan to video at a rate of 25 frames
per second.
This translates to 1000 total frames, which can be viewed either
as a movie on a frame by frame basis allowing for the best still
images to be isolated and saved even after the patient has left
the office.
The high resolution B-Scan images can be sent to the printer, saved
on the OTI-Scan sytem for making reports, or exported in standard
file formats such as TIFF, PNG or JPEG.
