The OTI-Scan 2000 is available in three different models and thus
"Designed for the Way You Practice". The
model chosen will depend upon the nature of the practice and the needs
of the end user.
This versatile and economical, model is a fully featured B & A-Scan
system. This system offers the "Fast Scan and Print" feature
for offices with large patient volumes for faster patient turnaround.
Dynamic Digital Recording
allows for quicker, less intrusive examinations. Forty seconds of
real time B & A-Scans can be captured digitally and can be reviewed
as a movie or in frame by frame playback mode leaving the examiner
free to focus on the exam instead of concentrating on capturing invidividual
images. This model is recommended for directly supervised exams where
a patient database is not required.
This model has all of the same features of the Office Model, plus
an added database. This system is ideal for indirectly supervised
exams with the physician able to review the exam generated by technicians,
and allows the physician to and track patients and monitor changes
over time. This model is also recommended for multi-user environments.
The Office Model can later be upgraded to the Clinic Model with
absolutely no downtime.
The OTI-Scan 2000 Clinic Model
can be upgraded to include the HF35-50
High Frequency System (UBM) for Anterior Segment Scanning. The
combined system runs on the OTI-Scan 2000 Windows-based
computer and monitor, and the seamless integration of the software
allows for use of the same software, the same database, and the
same movie and measuring capabilities.
